The verandas are manufactured from pressure treated softwood which is a timber injected with a copper based perservative called tanalethine too prolong the life of the wood and is an excellent alternative to the more expensive hardwoods. Wood is a natural product and will expand and contract when exposed to rain and sun but will last for many years if properly designed, constructed and maintained.
